True North Arts Challange

I loved the theme of this challenge.
If you stop to think, we are always looking for a way more safe. I made in art my journal a map of life, which are always in search of happiness, even if there are storms along the way. started working with gel medium, then used acrylic paint washed to create a degradee effects, texture with a bubble wrap, ink and acrylic gesso. The map from the central island, made with gesso, molding paste, gel medium ans stamp. Meaning of the continent I made a collage with old page of a book, distress ink, acrilyc paint and gel medium. I transfer with gel medium a design where we have a tornado approaching and a bridge by which we must cross, toward the calm of the mountain to reach the final destination: happiness, represented by the heart.
Enjoy!!!

You are so right, we are always on a journey and in need of maps. Your Map of Life is gorgeous with such yummy textures. I love the little details - the figure on the bridge and tornado.

Thank you for sharing this creative journey. It is so much fun!

1st off I have to say I am always envious of those who are fluent in more than 1 language. I do good to communicate in English. Second, great map.

I am so glad you are safe on that Bridge as the Tornado approaches!
Yes we need maps, but is it not more to go off the beaten path at times?
(grin). Don't forget, it was a Tornado that swept Dorothy to Oz!
May your Journey be full of adventures!
